Torsion Springs
Ordering torsion springs is as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4 - follow the 4 steps below and call us with the measurements and we will ship same days as long as you place your order by 1pm EST. Since all torsion and extension springs are made to your specific measurements, they are not returnable or refundable. It is very important that you measure carefully. Never attempt to use any substitution for winding bars, such as a screwdriver. You must always use the proper tools and have experience when dealing with springs under tension. If you are unsure, call a professional!!
1. Look at the end of the spring to determine the wind direction. If the end of the spring points in the clockwise direction it is a left wound spring.
2. Measure the length in inches of ten coils of the spring to be replaced. Then compare that measurement to our chart to determine the correct wire size.

3. Measure the inside diameter of the spring - you will find it to be one of the following measurements: 1 3/4” 2” 2 1/4”
4. Use a tape measure to find the length of the entire spring, but do not include the end cones.
